Gift Guide for the Organizer

Before I was a professional organizer, I was a DIY organizer just like you! Over the years as my business has grown from a one-woman show to a team of nearly 20 organizers between Bellingham and Seattle, Washington, I have learned a thing or two about home organization products!

If you have someone in your life who finds joy in creating order within their living space, then you're in the right place. This gift guide is made up of the BEST products to help you organize your home The Orderly Space way! These are all affordable, tried and true items that we love and use every day over here, and with many of them coming in multiple size and color options, they’re able to work in homes of all shapes and styles!

Now, let’s get to the fun part…shopping!

1. OXO Containers

We love this set of three 4.4qt containers with scoops in addition to these smaller 2.8qt square containers. Perfect for decanting grains, baking supplies, snacks, etc.

2. Deep Drawer Bins

This set of clear deep drawer bins is great for organizing items in hard-to-reach places or under the sink. We haven’t met a house yet that couldn’t benefit from one of these versatile bins!

3. Felt Bins

These are our favorite bins to use in linen closets, clothing closets, playrooms…pretty much everywhere! PRO TIP: Snag one of these bins and fill it with a few intentional items to make a great gift basket for anyone on your list!

4. Water Hyacinth Baskets

I can’t begin to tell you how often we use these baskets when we’re organizing homes. Use them in your pantry, bathroom, linen closet, laundry room…anywhere! This would be another great bin to use if you want to create a gift basket!

5. Brother P-Touch Label Maker

We all have that one friend who loves to go crazy with the label maker (it’s me, hi)! This is the perfect gift for the person in your life who wants every item in their home to have a label. What we love about this particular model is that it not only has handheld keyboard functionality but it can be used with a computer to access all your favorite fonts and churn out labels faster.

6. Spice Jars

There’s nothing better than an organized spice drawer! Level up this gift with the addition of a spice-decanting evening experience with the recipient. Pop on a movie, share snacks, and decant spices together!

7. Bin Clips

Bin clips are an organizing essential and bonus - they are stocking stuffer size!

8. White Bins with Handles

These bins are so versatile and can be used anywhere in the home (which is what makes them such a great gift), but we especially love these as a budget-friendly alternative to acrylic for kitchens and pantries.

9. IDesign Acrylic drawer DIVIDERs

We love these acrylic iDesign drawer dividers for kitchen and bathroom drawers. With a little bit of Tetris work, they can instantly make any “junk” drawer functional!

10. Space Saving Hangers - Set of 100

The perfect gift for the person in your life who loves a cohesive, organized closet, but also loves adding to their wardrobe! Space-saving hangers will truly double hanging space and the non-slip surface keeps tanks and slippery fabrics secured to the hanger. We love the Costco ones for their affordability!

11. Translucent MULTI-PURPOSE Bins

These bins come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, so you’re sure to find one to fit any space. We love to use them in offices or craft spaces for paper, notebooks, workbooks, and stationery items. They are also our go-to garage organizer for frequently accessed items like gardening tools, outdoor toys, or painting supplies.

I guarantee that equipped with these products any space can be organized, but if a do-it-all-for-you approach seems more appropriate, we also offer Orderly Space gift certificates for those hard-to-shop friends and family members. The best part? We take all the guesswork out of product selection and bring all the options right to the project!

Happy Holiday gift-giving from your friends at The Orderly Space!
