Our Process
Our simplified approach to your organizing projects.
Consultation
Schedule your no-obligation, complimentary consultation to start your organizing journey. After we discuss the details of your project, your customized proposal will be delivered within hours.
Once you are ready to book, you’ll sign our Service Agreement, place your deposit, and begin working with one of our amazing Project Managers.
Project Management
Your dedicated Project Manager will check in with you on project details, including style preference, budget, and how to get products outside of our inventory that may be needed for your project.
Pre-Session
Before your session, your Project Manager will finalize your product and style preferences and ensure your dedicated organizing team understands all the details of your project.
The day before your session, they will touch base to confirm timing and day-of information.
Organizing
The Project Manager will assign a Lead Organizer to your project who facilitates and leads the team during the organizing session. At the end of the day, after all of the sorting, purging, organizing, labeling, and finessing, our team will walk you through your orderly spaces and share tips on how you can maintain them.
Post Session
During the evening of your organizing session, your Project Manager will reach out to ensure the project went smoothly and our billing department will send your final invoice.

RATES START AT $80/HOUR PER ORGANIZER
The Details
All projects are completed in six-hour sessions utilizing teams of two or more organizers per project, depending on the project's scope.
Additional travel fees may be required for projects outside Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, and King County.

Each space is different, as such the rate of organization is highly dependent on a number of factors, including how quickly you can make decisions and the size and scope of the project. That said, we have a ton of tricks up our sleeves that ensure every session is as productive as possible. You will be surprised how quickly you’ll start to see some major differences and transformations!

We love children, but we’ve found that it can be difficult to give your space the attention it deserves when young children are present. We know that your foremost obligation is your children, as such, it may prove difficult to give them and your space the attention they deserve at the same time. If possible, we recommend arranging child care for your sessions, this will help you get the most bang for your buck and ensure that the final product is exactly what you dreamt of.

We’ll work together during our comprehensive consultation where we’ll get to know you, your style, preferences, and needs. We welcome our clients to be as involved in the process as they choose, but after your consultation, we give you permission to leave and get back to your tasks (we know how busy you are!). We strive to provide a “done-for-you” service that doesn't take any more of your precious time than necessary. In fact, our goal is to give back some of your time so you can refocus on the things you love.

We will not throw anything out without the client's permission. We help the client make decisions, but the final decision is always theirs. If your clutter is interrupting the daily flow of your life and preventing you from living as efficiently as you could, then those items may need to be re-homed. We will cheer you on every step of the way as you make decisions whether to toss, donate, or recycle your unused items.

Clients are responsible for paying for all agreed-upon products (drawer dividers, file folders, storage containers, etc.) necessary for the completion of the project at the time of service. We carry a wide-ranging inventory of products sourced from our preferred vendors for use on projects. For larger items needed for a project (shelving, cabinets, or specialty products) links will be provided for the client to purchase ahead of the scheduled session.

Yes, direct expenses of service -- including, but not limited to, supplies and products, shipping fees/delivery charges, parking, tolls and other transportation charges, overnight charges -- are the client's responsibility. They will be billed to client at the time of service, if not provided directly by client.

Clients will be invoiced prior to service and a deposit is due at the time of booking to secure your dates on our schedule. We accept payment by cash, check, or credit card. Checks should be made payable to "The Orderly Space". There will be a charge of $35 for any check returned for insufficient funds, as well as additional collection and/or legal fees to compensate for overdraft charges and unpaid account balances.

No. In fact, we’d prefer if you didn’t that way we can see how your space typically looks and how you’re currently functioning in it. Remember, there is nothing to be embarrassed about and certainly no need for shame! We’ve been there and our number one goal is to find solutions that work for you and your space in a completely non-judgmental way.

With a degree in Psychology, a love for all things organization, and a long history of service-oriented jobs, I knew I wanted to use my knowledge and experience to help others. Thus, The Orderly Space was born!
